Instructions
Cut the leftover idlis into small pieces.
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add the chopped onion, green chili, and a pinch of salt. Saute until the onion becomes translucent.
Add the chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to taste. Cook until the tomato becomes soft and mushy.
Add the cut idlis to the pan and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the idlis are heated through and slightly crispy.
Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
