sesame seeds

rice flour

jaggery
grated or chopped

Oil or ghee for frying
Instructions
Dry roast the sesame seeds in a pan on medium heat until they turn golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a separate pan, heat the water and jaggery together until the jaggery dissolves completely.
In a mixing bowl, combine the roasted sesame seeds, rice flour, and salt.
Gradually add the jaggery water to the dry ingredients while stirring continuously until the mixture comes together to form a dough.
Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and pliable.
Divide the dough into small balls, and flatten them into disc shapes.
Heat oil or ghee in a pan on medium heat.
Fry the flattened discs in the hot oil or ghee until they turn golden brown on both sides.
Remove the Til Pitha from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain off any excess oil.
Serve the Til Pitha warm or at room temperature.
