Besan Ladoo ( Besan ke Laddu)
Besan Laddu is a popular Indian sweet made from besan or gram flour, powdered sugar, ghee or clarified butter, and various nuts and spices. The besan is roasted in ghee until it turns golden brown, then mixed with powdered sugar, cardamom powder, chopped nuts, and raisins. The mixture is then rolled into small balls called laddus.

- 1 Heavy Bottomed Pan
Ingredients
- 2 cups besan gram flour
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup ghee or clarified butter
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp chopped nuts almonds, cashews, pistachios
- 1 tbsp raisins
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
- Add besan and cook, stirring constantly, for about 10-15 minutes or until it turns golden brown and fragrant.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder, chopped nuts, and raisins to the besan mixture. Mix well.
- Take a small portion of the mixture and roll it into a ball-shaped ladoo.
- Repeat with the remaining mixture.
- Let the ladoos cool completely before serving.
