 09.09.23

SAUNF (FENNEL SEEDS)

Fennel seeds contribute a subtle sweetness and a mild anise flavor to the tea.

ADRAK (GINGER)

Freshly grated ginger or ginger paste is used to add a fiery and zesty note to the tea. It also provides warmth.

A small piece of cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon adds warmth and a mild spiciness to the tea.

CINNAMON (Dalchini)

ELAICHI (CARDAMOM)

No Chai is complete without the aroma and flavor of Elaichi. Green cardamom pods are crushed or ground to release their sweet and floral aroma.

CLOVES (LONG)

Whole cloves or ground cloves provide a strong and slightly pungent flavor, giving chai a spicy kick.

NUTMEG (JAIFAL)

A pinch of freshly grated nutmeg can enhance the chai's aroma and provide a slightly sweet and nutty taste.

BLACK PEPPERCORNS (KALI MIRCH)

A few whole black peppercorns can be added to create a subtle heat and spiciness in the chai.

STAR ANISE (CHAKRA PHOOL)

This optional spice adds a hint of licorice-like flavor and a mild sweetness to the tea.
