Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of roasted semolina suji
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 3 cups of water or milk
  • 1/2 cup of ghee
  • A pinch of cardamom powder
  • A handful of chopped nuts optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add semolina and roast it for 5-7 minutes until it turns light brown and fragrant.
  • Add water or milk and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes until the water is absorbed and the halwa is cooked.
  • Garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.
