  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • Chopped nuts for garnishing optional

Instructions
 

  • In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat ghee over medium heat.
  • Add semolina to the pan and roast it for a few minutes until it turns light golden brown.
  • Pour milk into the pan and stir well.
  • Add sugar and cardamom powder to the pan and stir again.
  • Keep stirring the mixture continuously until it thickens and the semolina is cooked through. This may take about 15-20 minutes.
  • Once the mixture reaches a desired consistency, turn off the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped nuts (if using) and serve warm or chilled.
