How to make delicious Puffed Rice chocolate bar?
Being from Assam, we have numerous cuisines centered around puffed rice due to our love for this crunchy cereal cum snack. But, there is none that involves our beloved Assamese Muri and the world’s favourite chocolate (until now). But muri can be added to many recipes to make the final dish crunchier and fulfilling, like with a muri chocolate bar. Making a Chocolate bar filled with crispy muri is super easy and can be made at home in minutes. We only need two ingredients to make your everyday chocolate bar crunchier and healthier, one’s chocolate and the other is Muri / Puffed Rice. Making this chocolate bar is so simple that even a child could do it (with supervision of course). Here’s how you make your own chocolate Muri delight at home.
- First, heat chocolate bar (dark or milk) in an oven, till it melts completely, stir occasionally if needed.
- Once, chocolate has melted completely, pour it in a bowl containing Muri/Murmura.
- Mix the two ingredients and then pour it on a previously butter greased tray and spread it throughout.
- Freeze the spread mixture to solidify chocolate and done.
That’s it, your homemade crunchy Choco Muri is ready, which is not only healthier but cheaper too.
